Nottingham Precision is a full-service CNC machine shop specializing in high-tolerance, precision-made components for EDC makers, OEMs, and manufacturers who demand consistency, repeatability, and uncompromising quality.
Founded in 2008, Nottingham Precision has continuously evolved alongside the needs of modern manufacturing. What began as a passion for precision machining has grown into a vertically integrated operation capable of producing mission-critical components entirely in-house—from raw material to finished part.
In 2023, we expanded our capabilities with the addition of our first Swiss-style screw machine, followed by a second machine in 2024. This investment allows us to efficiently produce complex, tight-tolerance parts at scale, with exceptional surface finishes and repeatable accuracy. Today, we proudly offer Titanium screws and other precision components directly through our website, giving makers and manufacturers direct access to OEM-grade hardware without compromise.
Our shop specializes in machining materials commonly used in the EDC and knife industries, with a strong emphasis on titanium and high-performance stainless steel. Nottingham Precision is co-owned by Lee Nottingham, Founder, and his wife Liz Nottingham.
Lee has dedicated over half his life to mastering the art of design, engineering, and precision machining as a journeyman tool and die maker. His deep understanding of tolerances, materials, and manufacturability shapes every part that leaves our shop. Precision is not a buzzword here—it’s the standard.
In 2021, Liz joined the business full-time, bringing a strong background in sales, customer service, and operations. Together, their combined skill sets ensure that Nottingham Precision is not only technically capable, but also responsive, communicative, and easy to work with—values that matter just as much as the final part.
All components produced by Nottingham Precision are machined and inspected in-house, giving us full control over quality, consistency, and lead times. We don’t outsource critical processes, and we don’t cut corners.
